Make your own Delft Blue Tile

Made in PSP 9, but can be done in other versions

No outside filters required!

Picture and font here, but you can use any picture and font you like :-)

Open your picture.....Convert Background Layer if needed.....then Copy (Ctrl C)

Open a new Image 500x500 transparent

Selections....Select All

Right Click on the bar and then 'Paste into Selection'

Selections....Select None

If you use my picture it looks a bit grainy, so I used 'Adjust...Photo Fix...Digital Camera Noise removal with this settings.....

Note: If you use your own picture and it's coloured you'll have to first 'Adjust-Hue-Saturation-Colorize and set it to 0 - 0

Now go to Adjust - Color Balance - manual color correction and pick 'Water - BlueLt'

Add a new layer....add your name or whatever...and choose these setting

Merge Visable

Go to your layers...duplicate

Effects....Texture Effects....Tiles with these settings

Back to your Layers....and slide the opacity to about 20....and set it to Overlay...

You should have something like this now....

Nearly there :-)

Merge Visable....

Layers Duplicate twice.......

On the first duplicate....Effect....3D effects.....Cutout with these settings...

On the second duplicate change the Vertical to 3 and the Horizontal to -3

Merge All

And Voila, you did it!
