Native Feathers

I used half of someone's tutorial to make this effect, but can't remember where I've seen it...
If someone knows of the link, please tell me, so I can put the url on this page :-)

You will need:

Funhouse Click Here

Transparency Click Here

A tube or use mine Click Here
A Luis Royo graphic

Font I used Click Here

  1. Open up a new image 600x600
      Open up your tube

  2. Click on the blue bar of your tube and click 'copy'
     
      Click on the blue bar of the new image and click 'paste as new layer'
      On your layer palette call your tube layer 'tube'
      Close layer 1 by clicking on the glasses
     

  3. Go back to your tube layer (click on it to make it active
      Effects - Funhouse - Twister default settings
      Effects - Transparency - Eliminate White

  4. Using your mover tool, slide it a bit to the left
      Duplicate this layer
      Click on Image on your menubar - then Mirror
     

  5. Using your mover tool again, slide the right one close to the left
     

      Click on Layers - Merge - Visible
      Again with your mover tool, move it to the center

  6.  Effects - Murameister - Copies with these settings:
     

      Click on Image on the menubar - Resize - 75% all layers unchecked

  7. Go back to your original tube (if you're using your own tube, go to step 8.)
      Click on your selection tool - rectangle - feather 10
      And circle only the top half of the woman
     
      Click on the blue bar and click 'copy'

  8.  On your working image, click on the blue bar and click 'paste as new layer'
       Make sure the new layer  is on the top....
       Position your tube to your liking then.....

  9.  Open new raster layer
       Click on text....depending on your image pick the size you like
       I used the zarrow font 48 then used Eyecandy 4000 Corona
     

  10.  Click on 'Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
         If you want it transparent, click on the layer palette, right click layer 1, which is closed then click delete
         Then go to Edit - Copy.....then open Animation Shop and right click and paste as new animation and save

  11.  If you don't want it transparent, give it a nice shadow....horizontal and vertical 2 - opacity 55 - blur 10

         Then 'Layers - Merge - Merge All (flatten)

         Or......
  

         If you're going to use a specific background, go to layer palette,
         open up layer 1 by clicking on the glasses....then flood fill with the colour of your choice

         Then click on 'Layers - Merge - Merge All (flatten)

VOILA!

All done!
